Stainless steel pipes (stainless steel pipes)

Stainless steel is a versatile material consisting of a steel alloy and a small percentage of chromium - the addition of chromium adds to the material's resistance to corrosion, a characteristic which has earned stainless steel its name. 1. Stainless steel pipe

Found in applications that require high strength stainless steel pipes that can work hardened or welded, although hard work pieces should not be used with certain types of corrosive. Low carbon stainless steel grades are a popular choice for welded parts.

For applications requiring larger size seamless and welded pipes (outside diameter 1.6 to 125 mm), aircraft structural pipes are used - this stainless steel is manufactured according to Specification. Aviation Specifications (AMS) or Military Specifications (MIL Specs).

A type of aircraft tube, used in aerospace applications such as fuel injection flow and hydraulic systems, and tends to be small. It is usually manufactured from 304 or 304 L stainless steel because the steel has high strength, corrosion resistance and ductility.
